Tarragon Creamy Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • Salt and fleshly ground black pepper, to taste 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh tarragon

Directions

  1. Melt the butter in a pan over medium-high heat, then add the olive oil.
  2. Season the chicken with salt and pepper then put it in the pan to fry for 15 minutes on both sides until the juices are clear. Remove them from the pan and set aside
  3. Pour the heavy cream in the pan and use a wooden spoon to scrape the parts stuck to the pan, then add the mustard and the tarragon. Mix well and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Put the chicken back into the pan and cover it with the creamy sauce.
  5. Serve the chicken drizzled with the sauce on a plate.
