Ingredients
- 6 whole egg yolks
- 0.5 c of unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 4 tbsp of melted coconut oil
- 1 tsp of stevia
Directions
- Whisk egg yolks, almond milk, vanilla, and stevia in a medium-sized metal bowl
- Slowly mix in melted coconut oil and stir
- Place the bowl over a saucepan of simmer water
- Keep whisking the mixture vigorously until thick
- Use a thermometer to register the temperature; once it has reached 140 degrees Fahrenheit, keep it steady for 3 minutes
- Remove the custard from the water bath and serve chilled!
