Ingredients

  • 2 lb pan-dressed trout (or other small fish), fresh or frozen
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 tbsp dill weed
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice

Directions

  1. Cut the fish lengthwise and season it with pepper.
  2. Prepare a skillet by melting the butter and dill weed.
  3. Fry the fish on high heat, flesh side down, for 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Remove the fish. Add the lemon juice to the butter and dill to create a sauce.
  5. Serve the fish with the sauce.
