Ingredients

  • 6 chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • Ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 14.5 ounces tomatoes, diced
  • 0.5 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano and dried rosemary
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried thyme

Directions

  1. Season both sides of your chicken breasts thoroughly with pepper and garlic salt
  2. Take a skillet and place it over medium heat
  3. Add some oil and cook your seasoned chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until the breasts are nicely browned
  4. Add some onion and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the onions are browned
  5. Pour the diced up tomatoes and balsamic vinegar over your chicken and season with some rosemary, basil, thyme and rosemary
  6. . Simmer the chicken for about 15 minutes until they are no longer pink
  7. Take an instant read thermometer and check if the internal temperature gives a reading of 165 degree Fahrenheit
  8. . If yes, then you are good to go!
