Hearty Beef Bourguignon

Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds shoulder steak, cut into cubes
  • 1 tablespoon Herbs de Provence
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 celery stalk, chopped
  • 1 cup red Burgundy wine

Directions

  1. Heat up a lightly greased soup pot over a medium-high flame. Now brown the beef in batches until no longer pink.
  2. Add a splash of wine to deglaze your pan.
  3. Add the Herbs de Provence, onion, celery, and wine to the pot; pour in 3 cups of water and stir to combine well. Bring to a rapid boil; then, turn the heat to mediumlow.
  4. Cover and let it simmer for 1 hour 10 minutes. Serve over hot cauliflower rice if desired. Enjoy!
