Ingredients

  • 1 pound of 85% lean ground beef
  • 1 small avocado, pitted and peeled
  • 2 slices of yellow cheddar cheese
  • Salt as needed
  • Fresh ground black pepper as needed

Directions

  1. Pre-heat and prepare your broiler to high
  2. Divide beef into two equal sized patties
  3. Season the patties with salt and pepper accordingly
  4. Broil the patties for 5 minutes per side
  5. Transfer the patties to a platter and add cheese
  6. Slice avocado into strips and place them on top of the patties
  7. Serve and enjoy!
