Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons lard, at room temperature
- 2 pounds beef filet mignon, cut into bite-sized chunks
- Flaky salt and ground black pepper, to season
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 cup double cream
Directions
- Melt the lard in a saucepan over moderate heat; now, sear the filet mignon for 2 to 3 minutes per sideāseason with salt and pepper to taste.
- Fold in the Dijon mustard and cream. Reduce the heat to medium-low and continue to cook for a further 6 minutes or until the sauce has reduced slightly.
- Serve in individual plates, garnished with cauli rice if desired. Enjoy!
